I love using Conscious Discipline! Conscious Discipline is evidence based and trauma informed. This means that it provides strategies to help children move from the survival centers of their brains into rational, reasoning states so that they can best cope with whatever situation they are struggling with. Conscious Discipline heavily emphasizes offering choices, recognizing emotions, understanding consequences for our choices, and working through tough moments with time and empathy. 

There is no school supply fee, but the school supply list will generally include backpack, crayons, markers, scissors, pencils, glue sticks, watercolor set, bug spray, sunblock, and a water bottle. Mud boots are encouraged but not necessary. The art supplies will be kept at the school but will be specifically used by your child. The bug spray, sunblock, and water bottle can travel home and back to school in your child’s backpack.

We work with them! If your child has specific allergies or any other medical needs, I will meet with you and your child to discuss an Academic Year Medical Plan so that your child’s needs can be met.

Your child must turn 3 by our start date- August 15th, 2022 to be eligible to attend.

No! But your child does need to be pull-up trained. Bathroom procedures are part of our learning!

Stuff to get dirty in! A good pair of water/mud boots is helpful, but not necessary. Summertime it's always best to wear jeans and a t-shirt, wintertime it’s best to dress in layers! We are outside DAILY, come rain or shine- so it’s always great to pack extra clothes in your child’s backpack and dress for the weather!
